Structured light 3D imaging technology enables stable 3D imaging on metallic reflective and high-contrast surfaces


After the "point to CMM /point laser" and "line to line laser" stages of development, 3D imaging technology has now advanced to the  "array  3D  imaging"  stage  represented    by     coded     structured    light.    HYN'S independently developed high-frequency fringe-coded structured light 3D imaging technology combines the high-resolution    characteristics    of    the    traditiona  sinusoidal  phase-shifting  encoding  method  with  the high  robustness  features  of the  traditional  line  laser
method.   This   represents   the    future   development direction of coded structured light technology.

HYN's five major series of 3D vision sensing products utilize a proprietary high-frequency structured light stripe encoding algorithm, enabling ultra-fast structured light stripe scanning using traditional DMD chips. The developed highly parallel stripe    decoding    algorithm    can    achieve   real-time    3D reconstruction  of millions  of point  clouds  in  milliseconds, even with a standard GTX1050 graphics card. This makes it the  only  structured  light  product  in  the  industry  currently capable  of  high-precision,  high-resolution  3D  imaging  in dynamic scenes.

Utilizing  proprietary  algorithms  for  structured light   system   parameter   calibration,   distortion correction, and GAMMA correction, and taking into account various factors such as phase noise, temperature  drift, and the nonlinear distribution of errors across the full field of view and depth of field,   the   Z-axis   measurement   accuracy   and repeatability of the system are superior to current line laser 3D scanning products under the same measurement field conditions.

HYN has independently developed the HYN 3DLab
software    based     on    the     C/CUDA    platform, integrating    commonly    used    3D    measurement functions. Researchers  can use  it to  complete  3D measurement project evaluations or development in a short time. Additionally, it offers a powerful SDK based on  C/C++/C# and  CUDA,  compatible with both Windows  and Linux  operating  systems.  The SDK  provides   a  rich  library  of  API  functions,
significantly  reducing   the  development  cycle  of client application software.
